I would definitely recommend Polilang to others. I'm not a native English speaker so I had objections before joining another Polish school in London. I had tried before and was lost because of the terminology they used. Polilang's teacher explained everything in simple words and used a lot of examples to illustrate the rules. Courses are very well taught (and are not only for native English speakers) and my teacher is very friendly helpful and patient. I started my Polish classes several times before but only with Ola (Polilang's teacher) I managed to finish one.

This also went beyond the classroom, with events organised and any areas of interest emailed to me. I have already signed up to the next course and I can't see myself changing school.

I don't normally bother to write reviews on products or services but I feel compelled to in this instance because of the outstanding quality of service I received during my 8 week intro to Polish. Ola is a very warm and friendly teacher and really makes you feel comfortable during the learning process. Not only that, but she is very good at explaining the concepts and rules in simple understandable terms which really helped me to grasp the fundamentals of this challenging language. It's not easy to find well taught Polish classes that are pitched at the right level and are value for money. This is certainly all of those. Standard of teaching is very good, as is the service and the environment.

I have been learning Polish for about 18 months now and Polilang's teacher is definitely the best teacher I have had. She is highly qualified and an experienced language teacher. I am really glad I joined Polilang because her lessons involve a good range of oral, reading, writing and listening exercises and lots of games and other activities to make learning fun for students.

The teacher is very intelligent and speaks perfect English so that she can explain the grammar to students in their own language. Her lessons are also good value for money, compared to other Polish language schools in London. I would highly recommend Polilang to people of all ability levels wanting to learn Polish.

My teacher meticulously plans lessons and devises additional materials to supplement the grammatical structures she is teaching. Her lessons are delivered with enthusiasm and she takes care to vary the activities so that there is a balance between Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading tasks. My teacher manages to both reassure the learner when they are finding aspects of the Language difficult and also push them to achieve the best they can. She maintains a fast pace in her lessons but never so fast that the less able student gets left behind or demoralized.

The tutor has a superb command of English and also specialist grammatical terminology. Her English is virtually accent-free and she has a very pleasant speaking voice that makes it easy to listen to her. My teacher also has a thorough knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language and the grammatical rules that govern her Mother Tongue - she is also able to impart this knowledge to the class in a way that everybody can understand.

I have throughly enjoyed my classes at Polilang. The lessons have been varied and interesting with lots of games, and reinforcement. My teacher is passionate and likes to educate her class in aspects of Polish culture aswell as language. I would not hesitate to recommend this school.

My teacher instructed me in Polish language for eight months. During that time I found her a superb teacher and she was both professional and approachable in all her interactions with students.

The lessons were excellent in that they didn't focus on one area. There would be some listening comprehension followed by grammar, then conversational practice. An understanding of Polish culture, as well as the intricacies of the language, would frame the exercises.

Attention was also given to the learning styles of different students. Some students need repetition while others require an understanding of the rules before they can move forward. This was taken into account with lessons and tasks tailored to suit individual requirements.

My teacher's ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior. She is extremely organized and reliable. She can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done. She accomplishes these tasks with great initiative and with a very positive attitude.

I have tried to learn Polish before, but somehow I never seemed to enjoy it, as I thought it to hard and impossible to learn. But now this all changed. My teacher is patient, has a vast knowledge of both language and culture. I feel the improvement and I am happy with my progress. Moreover, I enjoy the classes and all of a sudden the Polish language does not seem so difficult anymore.

For over six months now I have continued to attend Polish lessons every week on a one-to-one basis. Although I had some previous knowledge of Polish, my lessons have helped to improve my competency in the language far beyond my expectations. I have learnt, and continue to learn, a great deal from my teacher and have enjoyed the classes immensely. I have attended a number of different Polish language schools, both in Poland and the U.K., but I cannot think of another teacher who shares polilang teacher's passion and ability to teach Polish.

Despite the increasing popularity of Polish in London, there is also still a lack of good Polish language schools. My teacher has a gift for teaching a notoriously difficult language. She has obviously developed a remarkable passion for her native language, which is reflected in her knowledge, enthusiasm for teaching and dedication to students’ needs. Her English is also excellent (and she is equally passionate about it!), which means she is able to explain trickier aspects of grammar in the students' own language as an aid understanding.

I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending polilang to prospective students, regardless of their current level of Polish, and I wish them every success. I also look forward to continuing to learn from my teacher in the near future.

Languages have admittedly never been a strong point of mine - I honestly believe I was a difficult student, but my teacher's persistence and patience soon paid off and before long the basics began to sink in. With hindsight it is obvious that a great deal of thought went into the structure of my schedule of learning and that this had been tailored to suit my own needs. Progress was slow initially and my mispronunciations provided many amusing moments but my teacher's patience never waned and I will always be incredibly grateful for her persistence throughout the early difficult moments of frustration and doubt. Whilst my Polish is still far from perfect I am now able to converse with confidence with friends and my girlfriend's relatives and this is something I never thought I would be able to achieve!

I have no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending polilang as a language school. It is obvious to me that my teacher's calmness, diligent organisation, sense of humour and social nature led her perfectly to the profession and I am positive any individual who studies under her tutelage will no doubt be as grateful to her as I am.
